Today Sony announced its first Full HD LCD screen for the Digital Signage Market. The GXD-L52H1 boasts a 52-inch LCD display and native 1920 x 1080 resolution using a Full HD panel. Specially designed for business use it offers excellent longevity when mounted in either the portrait or landscape position. A protective glass screen adds to the versatility, robustness and reliability of the GXD-L52H1 and means the display can be mounted at eye level in reach of customers in environments where an additional, expensive casing would normally be required. A highly innovative heat management system which doesn’t require any ventilation holes makes the new display dust resistant and suitable for semi-outdoor environments.
Sony’s new, unique public display flagship model is aimed at the most demanding customers in the Retail, Transport, Venues and Digital Advertising industries, with target applications including Digital Signage in shopping malls and exhibition centres, railway stations and airports as well as corporate installations such as boardrooms or reception areas and medical and broadcast applications.
