Olivier Bovis

Olivier Bovis is the General Manager for Content Creation for Sony Professional across Europe. Based in Basingstoke, Olivier’s team is responsible for the delivery of the products and solutions necessary for the acquisition of content within the media and broadcast markets around Europe. His product team's remit includes; XDCAM, HDV and HDCAM SR, targeted at both end-user and channel audiences.

Prior to this role, Olivier has held several sales and marketing positions within Sony Professional’s Basingstoke headquarters, including time as a marketing manager where he was responsible for planning and co-ordinating the introduction of the latest advanced digital media offering, Professional Disc and the XDCAM range of products.

Olivier holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from France and McGill, Canada, as well as a Masters degree in Business Administration from Edhec.
