Sony Professional wins International Video Security Award

Sectech, Sweden – Detektor International, the leading European security magazine, has awarded Sony Professional its Highly Commended Product Award in CCTV Products, for the vendor’s new SNC-RH124 High Definition Pan Tilt Zoom Camera. Judges from the editorial board of Detektor International, the leading international publication for the security sector, made the presentation at their milestone 10th anniversary awards ceremony in conjunction with the opening day of the Sectech 2009 exhibition in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Detektor International awards recognise outstanding research and development within the security technology field and the citation from the jury reads: “As the world's first HD PTZ camera, Sony's SNC-RH124P packs all the features associated with a high-end network camera and shows Sony commitment to be a world class manufacturer of IP video surveillance products.”
